When I was 13 I realized that people could be more than straight. I grew up in a super catholic family and was always sheltered to my true options. A friend told me that most people pretended to be straight, but in reality most people were bisexual, and about 30% of people were gay/pan/asexual. My friend told me that I was going into high school soon, and so it was good to experiment with my sexuality and gender identity. I began to become curious about these new options. I went to a catholic school in the south and so I struggled to find anyone to experiment with me. My friend suggested to me that we experiment together, and i agreed. He told we might as well experiment with both my sexuality and gender identity at the same time. He told me to dress like a girl (I was born with a penis, wasn't sure at the time if I was a boy or not) and come to his house after school and we went at it. He put it in my butt and it was really uncomfortable. His body being pressed up against mine was really uncomfortable because of how hairy he was (he was 42, please don't be ageist, age is just a number). Afterwards I decided that I was a straight male. I had found my heterosexuality. I am overall grateful for my experience because without it i may have been questioning my entire life. Now I am certain.
